Water Standard Management has partnered with Pall Corporation, to develop and offer integrated membrane solutions for greenfield and brownfield waterflooding projects in the upstream oil and gas industry.

Water Standard, a global water treatment company, focuses on using proven membrane technology in compact configurations to meet the demands of offshore waterflood applications.

Meanwhile Pall Corporation has proven track record of providing high-tech water filtration systems to the waterflood market.

The combination will result in high value water treatment solutions to meet the most demanding requirements for the upstream oil and gas industry, according to company officials.

The collaboration with Pall will create an industry leader who can offer operators proven, compact water treatment solutions, the company said.

It will create an integrated membrane solution to meet clients’ technical needs, even in challenging environments, they added.

Offshore space and weight constraints have often impacted an operator’s ability to install waterflood systems.

With the new compact systems, operators will be able to consider waterflooding to extend field life and increase productivity and profitability for many additional years, according to company officials.

Membrane technology has been used offshore in multiple applications for over 25 years.
