SunRenu Solar installs solar projects for Boys & Girls Club of Metropolitan Phoenix

Greentech Lead Aisa: SunRenu Solar, a renewable energy developer and
installer, announced the installation of the commercial solar systems at two
Phoenix, Arizona locations for Boys & Girls Club of Metropolitan Phoenix.

The solar installation at the Stewart Club on
67th Ave and Clarendon Ave in Phoenix has been completed and the
second project at 47th Ave and Grovers Ave in Phoenix, is slated for July
of 2012.

“Working on solar integration, sponsoring energy
efficient awareness programs and being able to design and install a solar shade
structure to protect children and staff from harmful UV rays is something we
are truly excited to do for their organization,” said John McDonnell,
founder of SunRenu Solar.

The first project is generating 85 kW through a
non-penetrating ballast roof rack system. The solar PV
system consists of three hundred and sixty four (364) modules. The project
consists of roof mounted solar along with a solar shade structure that will provide
shade and clean energy for the facility for more than 25 years.

The solar system will produce a renewable energy rebate
through renewable program offering from the local utility company. The
production value and the rebate will offset approximately 90 percent of
facility electric utility expenses.

“Between the solar energy production and the rebate
as a credit to the utility bill, we have determined there will be substantial
energy cost savings. In combination with our organizational stability each
financed solar project will obtain positive cash flow immediately and increase
our owner occupied property value,” said Dale Wanek, Boys & Girls Club
of Metropolitan Phoenix CFO.
