SolarPanelRecycling.com Launches First Automated Bifacial Solar Panel Recycling Line in the U.S.

SolarPanelRecycling.com launched the automated bifacial solar panel recycling line. The new line allows for clean glass separation with recovery rates of 99% or higher, supporting the recycling of bifacial panels as their use in the market increases. EDP Renewables North America introduced the Sandrini I & II Solar Energy Park in Kern County, California. FMPA and Origis Energy Complete Rice Creek Solar Center

Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA) and Origis Energy have announced the completion of the Rice Creek Solar Energy Center in Putnam County, Florida. The 75 MWac facility will supply electricity to 12 cities. The solar farm has 213,000 panels and will power about 14,000 homes. FMPA plans to expand the Florida Municipal Solar Project to reach 525 MWac in the next few years.

Canadian Solar to Deliver 2 GWh Energy Storage for UK Projects

Canadian Solar’s e-STORAGE signed contracts with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) to provide 2 GWh of battery storage for two projects in Scotland: Coalburn 2 and Devilla. The storage will help stabilize the UK’s grid and support clean energy. The projects will power about 250,000 homes and reduce CO2 emissions by 4.57 million metric tons.

Solidus Techno Power, a solar EPC company in Punjab, has partnered with Jogindra Group, a leader in Punjab’s manufacturing industry, for the development of a 110 MWp solar power project.

The 110 MWp captive open-access ground-mounted solar project is designed to cater to the diverse energy needs of Jogindra Group’s key enterprises.

Solidus Techno Power will spearhead the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of this project, bringing its extensive expertise in solar energy solutions to the forefront. The 110 MWp project is expected to generate approximately 187 million units of clean energy annually, reducing an estimated 160,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year. These milestones not only support Jogindra Group’s sustainability objectives but also set a benchmark for responsible practices in Punjab’s manufacturing sector.
