Estuary Power Closes $340 mn for Escape Solar Project

Estuary Power has secured $340 million in financing for its Escape Solar and Storage project in Lincoln County, Nevada. The project includes 185 MW of solar capacity and 400 MWh of battery storage to supply power to companies like MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment. Bechtel is constructing the solar array, and Tesla is supplying the battery storage system. The project will start operating in 2025.

Zoomlion Completes Solar Power System at Smart Industrial City

Zoomlion Industry has integrated a rooftop photovoltaic (PV) system across its Smart Industrial City, generating 85 MWp of solar power. The system spans four parks and covers an area of 400,000 square meters, producing 65.6 million kWh annually. This move helps reduce carbon emissions by 65,400 tons per year, contributing to green energy goals.

Bechtel Begins Construction on 226 MW Solar Project in Nevada

Bechtel is working on the Escape Solar project in Lincoln County, Nevada, which will produce 226 MW of clean energy through 389,000 PV solar panels across 900 acres. This project will serve major power customers in the region, including MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment. The use of bifacial solar panels, which absorb sunlight on both sides, further enhances energy efficiency.

Linea Energy Secures Financing for 109 MW Solar Project in Georgia

Linea Energy has secured financing for its Pineview Solar project in Georgia, which will have a capacity of 109 MW. The financing will support the development of the solar facility, contributing to Georgia’s renewable energy goals. This partnership demonstrates the continued investment in solar energy infrastructure across the U.S. and reflects growing support for sustainable energy projects.

FMPA and Origis Energy Complete Rice Creek Solar Center

Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA) and Origis Energy have announced the completion of the Rice Creek Solar Energy Center in Putnam County, Florida. The 75 MWac facility will supply electricity to 12 cities. The solar farm has 213,000 panels and will power about 14,000 homes. FMPA plans to expand the Florida Municipal Solar Project to reach 525 MWac in the next few years.

Canadian Solar to Deliver 2 GWh Energy Storage for UK Projects

Canadian Solar’s e-STORAGE signed contracts with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) to provide 2 GWh of battery storage for two projects in Scotland: Coalburn 2 and Devilla. The storage will help stabilize the UK’s grid and support clean energy. The projects will power about 250,000 homes and reduce CO2 emissions by 4.57 million metric tons.
