SolarBank and Qcells announce $49.5 mn solar project deal
SolarBank announced a $49.5 million transaction with Qcells for the acquisition of four solar projects in upstate New York.
These projects, totaling 25.577 MW, will be developed using U.S.made solar equipment. Qcells will handle the commercial operation of the projects, which will be community solar initiatives. This transaction supports the growth of solar energy with local manufacturing and clean energy solutions.
SolarEdge signs agreements for U.S.-made solar equipment and tax credits
SolarEdge Technologies also announced key agreements with U.S. solar installers and financers. These safe harbor agreements involve providing U.S.-manufactured inverters, Power Optimizers, and batteries to qualify for domestic content bonus tax credits. SolarEdge also completed its second sale of §45X Advanced Manufacturing Production Tax Credits, supporting U.S. solar manufacturing
JinkoSolar Sets New Record with 33.84% Solar Cell Efficiency
JinkoSolar has set a new record with its N-type TOPCon-based perovskite tandem solar cell. The cell achieved a conversion efficiency of 33.84 percent, surpassing JinkoSolar’s previous record. Key technologies such as full-area passivated contact and perovskite interfacial defect passivation improved the cell’s efficiency. This innovation shows the progress in solar technology.
All Energy Solar Supports Minnesota’s Battery Storage Program
All Energy Solar supports Minnesota’s energy storage incentive program, helping homeowners and businesses invest in battery storage systems. The program offers incentives for systems up to 50kWh when paired with solar energy. All Energy Solar has installed over 110 megawatts of solar power and is working on 1,000 storage installs, continuing to lead in solar and energy storage.
