Munro to distribute Enecsys Solar Micro Inverter

By Greentech Lead America: Munro, a distributor of
renewable energy solutions, will offer Enecsys micro inverters. Enecsys micro
inverters are designed for high reliability and to match the 25-year service
life of solar modules.

“By incorporating Enecsys micro inverters into our
select portfolio of product offerings, we are providing PV stakeholders with
greater design flexibility and a cost-effective way to mitigate the adverse
effect that shading from nearby structures and trees has on a PV system’s
performance,” said Glenn Maltais, VP of Market Development and
Sustainability at Munro.

Unlike central inverters that
convert power generated by the entire array of solar modules, Enecsys Duo
micro inverter converts power from a single solar module or pair of modules.
Enecsys solar micro inverter system offers quicker, easier and safer
installation while maintenance is minimized and simplified.

Enecsys solar micro inverter features monitoring
capabilities, superior reliability and optimal energy harvesting. Enecsys micro
inverters also increase safety by eliminating the need for installers to handle
high voltage DC cabling.

Munro Distributing offers a full array of electrical and
solar components, including select modules, inverters and racking systems.

“Munro has many years of experience distributing electrical
products to the U.S. North Eastern markets and that, combined with their focus
on solar PV residential systems, makes them a good fit for us. We look forward
to working with Munro and growing our business in the markets they serve,”
said Ajay Malhotra, vice president of Marketing and Product Management at
Enecsys.

In order to achieve a high level of reliability, the
Enecsys micro inverter embodies three key attributes: a patented rugged
topology, the ability to operate in real world conditions from -40 degrees C to
+85 degrees C while maintaining a peak efficiency of 94.5 percent over the
temperature range, and a unique and patented energy storage technique that
enables the use of long-life thin film capacitors instead of less reliable
electrolytic capacitors.
