ACME today announced the appointment of Harish Kapoor as group president – Corporate Affairs, responsible for strengthening its position in the Indian solar industry.
ACME aims to install solar power capacities up to 7,500 MW by 2019 and has a current portfolio of over 1.6 GW at present. ACME products are installed over 150,000 telecom sites. ACME products help carbon emission savings to the tune of 2.2 million tons per annum.
Harish Kapoor will report to Manoj Kumar Upadhyay, founder and chairman of ACME Group.
Prior to joining ACME, Harish Kapoor worked with Essar Group, Loop Mobile, Tata Teleservices, Bharti Airtel, etc.
Harish Kapoor has graduated in B.Sc. (Physics) and LLB from Delhi University.
