UBM Asia to host Renewable Energy Asia 2012

By Greentech Lead Asia: UBM Asia announced it will host
Renewable Energy Asia 2012 held at BITEC Bangna, Bangkok from 6 – 9 June.
The event will run together with Entech Pollutec and Pumps & Valves Asia
which have been held for 22 and 13 years respectively.

The event will feature many highly effective clean
energy programs and solutions. Attendees from over 200 companies and 20
countries will be attending the event.

The event will highlight the importance of clean
energy programs which together with disaster prevention
create renewable energy development in the region.

‘Boilex Asia 2012’ – the important boilers
and pressure vessels technology exhibition, will be held for the
first time this year and will run in conjunction with Renewable Energy
2012.

The show will also feature renewable
energy fuels such as biomass and biogas. These ‘green’ fuels are replacing
petrol and natural gas in a wide variety of industries and are of key interest
for businesses that want to reduce their dependence on fossil fuels as
soon as possible.

Leading companies will reveal their latest technologies
at special country pavilions that will be another highlight of this year’s
show.

Renewable Energy 2012 will also offer other new
sectors and programs such as the One-stop Energy Consultant Center,
the Renewable Energy Conference, and ‘The BIMSTEC Regional Workshop
and Study Visit on Biofuels Production and Utilization’.

The workshop will be presented by the Ministry of Energy
along with the German Renewable Energy Day.
