The ninth edition of Renewable Energy India Expo (REI) is scheduled for September 23–25. UBM India is organizing the expo at India Expo Center, Greater Noida.
REI is aimed at bringing renewable energy resources, innovations, product to the mainstream.
The upcoming edition is to feature country pavilions from China, Japan, Italy, Taiwan, Canada and USA.
More than 500 exhbitors, including companies such as Bergen Associates, BOSCH Solar Energy, Bonfiglioli Renewable Power, Conversion India, Canadian Solar and Hero Future Energies will participate.
Several product launches are also expected to take place at REI 2015. Navitas Green Solutions will introduce their Sapphire series of solar PV modules; PV Power Tech will launch high efficiency 4 bus bar cell with 260 watt module in 60 cells; and Staubli Tec Systems India will introduce MC4 EVO 2, a photovoltaic connector suited for all climatic environments.
Other highlights of the expo include a live solar car exhibit, workshops and master classes by Global Sustainable Energy Solutions (GSES) and a technical symposium on skills development by National Institute of Wind Energy (NIWE).
The expo will also feature a conference themed “Indian Renewable Energy Landscape – Evolving the Success Parameters”.
Speakers from the industry drawn from around the world will discuss key issues and trends related to renewable energy, the status of solar and wind power in India, and strategies to achieve 100 GW and 70 GW target by 2020, among other things at the conference.
