Energy efficiency and sustainability will be two key focus areas of the first International edition of Mostra Covegno Expocomfort (MCE) exhibition.
Singapore is hosting MCE Asia from September 2 to 4 at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre this year, a statement says.
MCE is conventionally held in Milan, Italy, and has been focusing exclusively on heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) products.
Pierini Massimiliano, the business unit director of MCE Italy, says the demand for HVAC equipment is set to grow exponentially around the globe owing to climate change. And Asia, which is rapidly urbanizing, will require constant innovation and new HVAC technologies.
“There is a need for us to provide a sustainable solution. We need to create new technologies for HVAC equipment to be more environment friendly,” Massimiliano says.
With Asia-Pacific set to see investment of $2.5 trillion for the development of renewable technologies by 2030, MCE Asia is bringing together energy saving and efficiency through innovative technologies and integrated systems.
The exhibition targets specialised building professionals within the residential, commercial, industrial, institutional and hospitality sectors.
According to the statement, companies participating in MCE Asia, Singapore, will include RubinetterieBresciane, Itap, Galletti Group, CimberioValve, COES Company, Daikin Airconditioning Singapore and Panasonic Appliances Air-conditioning Systems.
More than 114 exhibiting companies from 27 countries and regions will showcase their HVAC technologies at the exhibition.
