Outland Energy Services bags 328 MW wind turbine O&M contract from Xcel Energy

provider of wind turbine operations and maintenance services to original
equipment manufacturers, has received a long-term service contract from Xcel
Energy to provide operations and maintenance services at three Xcel Energy wind
farms totaling 328 MW until 2017.

“Our entire team is excited to be expanding our service
offering to an industry leader like Xcel Energy. I’m especially proud of our
technicians who have performed exceptionally well at Xcel’s Grand Meadow
location over the past 20 months,” said Steve Scott, president & CEO
of Outland.

As per the agreement, Outland will provide full-time
services for the 201-megawatt (MW) Nobles wind farm in Nobles County and the
100.5 MW Grand Meadow wind farm in Mower County in Minnesota. In Colorado,
Outland will provide full-time services for the 26.5 MW Ponnequin site.

Both sites in Minnesota utilize GE 1.5
MW wind turbines and the Ponnequin site utilizes both Vestas 660
kW and NEG-Micon 750 kW wind turbines.
