Neoen Opens Portugal’s Largest Solar Park

Neoen has inaugurated the Torre Bela solar park, the largest in Portugal, with a capacity of 272MWp. The project is located near Lisbon and includes around 500,000 solar panels. It is expected to generate electricity equivalent to the consumption of 130,000 homes. The electricity is sold through power purchase agreements and on the wholesale market. Construction was carried out by a consortium of TECNOGREEN and Prodiel.

Invenergy Brings 250MW Solar Project Online in Ohio

Invenergy has completed and brought online the 250MW Cadence Solar Energy Center in Union County, Ohio. The project includes over 600,000 solar panels and will provide electricity to support Meta’s operations through a long-term power purchase agreement. Construction created approximately 300 jobs. The solar facility is owned by Invenergy and its investor partner, funds managed by Blackstone Infrastructure. The project contributes to local tax revenue and is part of Invenergy’s broader renewable energy portfolio across the United States.

Newave Energia Inaugurates 436MWp Solar Plant in Brazil

Newave Energia has inaugurated a 436MWp solar power complex in Mauriti, Ceará, Brazil. The facility includes eight photovoltaic plants and is expected to generate approximately 900GWh of electricity annually. The project is backed by long-term power purchase agreements and aligns with Brazil’s strategy to expand renewable energy capacity. The company invested around BRL 1.6 billion in the development. The solar complex is connected to the national grid and contributes to regional economic activity through job creation and energy infrastructure development.
