Maxeon Solar targets 460-490 MW in PV module shipment

Maxeon Solar Technologies announced its financial results for the first quarter ended April 3, 2022.

Maxeon Solar said its revenue increased to $223.08 million in Q1 2022 as compared with $165.41 million in Q1 2021 and from $221.47 million in Q4 2021.

Maxeon Solar’s PV module touched 488 MW in Q1 2022 as compared with 379 MW in Q1 2021 and from 577 MW in Q4 2021.

Maxeon CEO Jeff Waters said: “We kicked off 2022 with another record DG performance in Europe and the unveiling of our SunPower One ecosystem which we will start launching in various regions across the globe this year.”

“Our PV module sales were up over 75 percent year over year in Europe and in certain countries our mix of AC module sales exceeded 40 percent. In US Utility-Scale, we’re negotiating terms for 2024 deliveries and we’re seeing the first module containers leave our facilities in Mexico and arrive at our customer’s project site.”

Maxeon Solar is targeting PV module shipment of 460-490 MW and revenue of $215-$230 million in Q2 2022.
