Canadian Solar announced its EPC contract to offer services to a 256 MWp solar power project in Australia for Total Eren, a French Independent Power Producer (IPP).

Kiamal Solar Farm, located in Northwest Victoria, has secured several Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with energy retailers such as Flow Power and Alinta Energy and a 20-year PPA with Mars Australia.

Canadian Solar in partnership with solar EPC provider Biosar Australia will start construction in October 2018. The solar power plant will reach commercial operation by mid-2019.

Canadian Solar will install over 720,000 KuMax modules (CS3U-P) on single-axis solar tracking systems. It will be the single largest solar power plant in Victoria, Australia, and will produce electricity for more than 133,500 Victorian homes.
