Pioneer Energy, Strataphy, ENGIE, WINT, among others, announced their latest renewable energy deals or projects.
Pioneer Energy and Emvolon Receive $6 Million Grant for Methanol Technology
Pioneer Energy and Emvolon have received a $6 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to implement flare gas to methanol technology. This technology will reduce emissions in the oilfield by converting methane into green methanol. The project will take place in the Eagle Ford region of Texas and aims to turn waste gas into usable energy, cutting costs and reducing emissions.
Strataphy Launches Cooling as a Service with Geothermal Energy
Strataphy has launched Cooling as a Service (CAS), a model that uses geothermal cooling. This service allows customers to install geothermal cooling systems without upfront costs, helping to reduce electricity use and emissions. Strataphy is already working on geothermal projects in the MENA region and plans to expand to the U.S.
ENGIE and Meta Expand Partnership with 200 MW Renewable Energy Deal
ENGIE North America and Meta have signed their partnership with a 200 MW renewable energy agreement, where ENGIE will supply energy from the Anson 2 solar project in Texas. This collaboration supports Meta’s net-zero emissions goals and enhances the availability of renewable power to meet growing demand. The project is part of ENGIE’s efforts to provide large-scale renewable energy solutions.
WINT and Ferguson Partner to Improve Water Management in Construction
WINT Water Intelligence has partnered with Ferguson to offer advanced water management solutions. WINT’s technology helps detect leaks and track water usage, reducing waste and preventing damage. The collaboration will make WINT’s technology available to more customers, improving water management across industries like construction and property management. WINT’s systems have shown to cut water use by 20-25 percent and lower carbon emissions.
