Boston-Power signs Battery System supply contract with Beijing Electric Vehicle Company

Greentech Lead Asia: Boston-Power, a provider of
next-generation lithium-ion battery cells, modules and systems, has signed a
long term supply agreement with Beijing Electric Vehicle Company (BJEV), the
electric vehicle delivery arm of Beijing Automotive Industry Company (BAIC). As
per the agreement, Boston-Power will provide its battery systems to BJEV
electric vehicles (EVs).

Boston-Power will begin the shipments by fourth quarter
2012. BJEV will use the battery systems for the C70 sedan, which is based on
the 9-5 SAAB chassis BAIC acquired in 2009.

electric transportations.
