REG to establish Biofuels wholesale terminal at REG Clovis

By Greentech Lead America: Renewable Energy Group (REG),
a biodiesel producer and marketer, will open a B100 wholesale terminal at its
biodiesel plant near Clovis, New Mexico. REG is converting the site’s liquid
storage and truck load-out into a wholesale terminal for REG-9000 branded
biodiesel sales via truck and rail.

The 15 million gallon per year biodiesel facility,
known as REG Clovis, is approximately 40 percent complete. The wholesale
terminal, adjacent to this facility will be operational this July.

“Renewable Energy Group believes this new terminal
infrastructure demonstrates our commitment to offering our customers better
access to biodiesel blending locations throughout the Southwest and West. We
intend to complete construction of REG Clovis as a biodiesel production site,
the timing of which depends on a variety of factors. Using the location as a
terminal is an important initial step in the process to meet local market
demand,” said Daniel J. Oh, president and CEO, REG.

REG-9000 branded biodiesel is produced from natural oils,
fats and greases and meets or exceeds ASTM quality specifications for
biodiesel.

Renewable Energy Group is focused on converting natural
fats, oils and greases into advanced biofuels. With more than 210 million
gallons of owned/operated annual production capacity at biorefineries across
the country, REG is a proven biodiesel partner in the distillate marketplace.
