HiQ Solar announced new Liberty 480V 3-phase, 1,000Vdc inverter.
These PV solar solutions, meant for commercial market, offer new standards in ruggedness, power density and data reporting, the company said.
With 8 kW capacity and an NEMA6 enclosure of weight 24 lbs., the inverter can be installed on rooftop or wherever it needs be.
The sealed, waterproof and silent package is suitable for environments such as desert, coastal and high altitude locations.
The solar inverter solution delivers peak efficiency above 98.5 percent and conforms to UL1741. With a power density of 0.72 kW/kg, it has twice the power density of large string inverters.
The Liberty inverter handles two 4 KW single strings individually, providing separate monitoring, MPPT and arc detection for each. The level of management and monitoring for commercial installations is ideal, with enough granularity to check issues that arise without being swamped in data.
