Arzon Solar has launched 2.70 kW, 30 percent more efficient concentrator photovoltaic (CPV) modules for the solar industry use.

Named as universal module or uModule, these highest ever efficient PV modules introduced so far are rated at 2.70 kW DC CSTC (2.30 kW DC CSOC).

Besides, the fully integrated, easy-to-install and easy-to-ship uModule is designed to provide enhanced performance.

They can either be installed individually or integrated into several uModule-enabled systems.

The uModule will provide improved performance energy solution in all climates for all kinds of solar platform including off grid, commercial, distributed generation, net metering and utility scale.

In addition, the uModule platform is designed to work effortlessly with different Arzon Solar systems from 5.5 kW to 33.2 kW, as well as third-party tracking solutions.

Earlier, CPV products and companies focused in servicing utility scale customers despite having clear energy density, land sensitivity and performance advantages in every function of the solar market.

The team has leveraged decades of technology and product experience to create a competitive and flexible CPV module that generates solar energy.

Moreover, the uModule features manufacturing simplicity, application versatility, and powerful performance a major transformation for the industry.

Arzon Solar uses robust yet inexpensive refractive optics to concentrate sunlight onto 40 – 43 percent high efficiency, triple junction solar cells, resulting in DC system efficiency of 31 – 32 percent.

In August, 2013, Arzon Solar set a world record of 35.9 percent module efficiency in a test and analysis performed at the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL).
