Sunwoda Energy and Gryphon Energy signed a partnership agreement for a 1.6 GWh energy storage project during the All-Energy Australia 2024 event.

The project, located in Queensland, will be one of Australia’s largest energy storage initiatives, with operations expected by 2026.

Sunwoda Energy will provide its advanced NoahX 5MWh liquid cooling energy storage system, featuring cutting-edge Reverse DC Coupling technology and self-developed 314Ah cells.

The project will enhance grid stability and flexibility, supporting both the state and national power grids.

Sunwoda Energy aims to expand its presence in international markets, focusing heavily on Australia, following the success of its earlier 5MW/11MWh project in New South Wales.

This partnership strengthens both companies’ commitment to clean energy development and sustainable energy storage solutions in Australia.
