BayWa r.e. Sells 44-MWp French Solar Portfolio to Recycle Capital

BayWa r.e. has completed the sale of two solar photovoltaic projects totalling 44 MWp in France, continuing its active portfolio rotation strategy. The projects are based on proven utility-scale solar PV technology, delivering reliable, low-carbon electricity to the French grid. Innovation is reflected in BayWa r.e.’s build-and-sell business model, which accelerates renewable deployment by transferring mature assets to long-term owners. From an investment perspective, the transaction releases capital, strengthens liquidity, and supports reinvestment into new development pipelines. Consumer benefits include the continued supply of clean power, contributing to emissions reduction and energy security. Strategically, the sale aligns with BayWa r.e.’s focus on value creation through development excellence. The divestment supports the company’s growth plans, enabling faster expansion across European solar and hybrid renewable markets.

SUSI Exits Danish Wind Portfolio Through Asset Sale

SUSI has completed its exit from a Danish wind power portfolio, marking a strategic divestment from mature onshore wind assets. The portfolio is based on proven onshore wind turbine technology, providing stable, low-carbon electricity over its operating life. Innovation in this transaction lies in portfolio lifecycle management, allowing capital to be reallocated to newer renewable opportunities. From an investment perspective, the exit crystallises returns for investors and frees capital for redeployment into growth-stage clean energy projects. Consumer benefits remain intact, with the assets continuing to supply renewable power to the grid under new ownership. Strategically, the sale aligns with SUSI’s fund management approach and focuses on optimising investor value. The divestment supports SUSI’s growth plans, enabling future investments in emerging renewable and energy transition assets.

Rajesh Power Services Enters Utility-Scale Storage with 65 MW / 130 MWh BESS Win in Gujarat

Rajesh Power Services Limited (RPSL) has marked its entry into utility-scale energy storage after securing a 65 MW / 130 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Gujarat from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL). Awarded under tariff-based competitive bidding with Viability Gap Funding (VGF) support from the Power System Development Fund, the project will be developed at Virpore and executed within 18 months of signing the BESPA. The system can deliver 65 MW for two hours, helping manage peak demand, enhance grid stability, and enable higher renewable integration. Strategically, the win positions RPSL in a fast-growing segment aligned with Gujarat’s 2,000 MW / 4,000 MWh storage roadmap, supporting long-term growth and energy transition goals.
