X-ELIO Signs Six Power Agreements in the US
X-ELIO has signed six virtual power purchase agreements (PPAs) for 172 MW in the US. The agreements involve Cisco Systems, Biogen, IDEXX Laboratories, and Waters Corporation through the Net Zero Consortium for Buyers.The energy will come from X-ELIO’s Star Dairy and Rosebud projects in Texas, expected to generate 367,000 MWh annually starting in 2027. Cisco’s agreements align with its goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2040. Biogen continues its renewable energy efforts, having operated on 100 percent renewable energy since 2014.
DuPont Water Solutions Launches WAVE PRO for Ultrafiltration
DuPont Water Solutions has launched WAVE PRO, an online modeling tool for ultrafiltration water treatment. The tool is designed for drinking water, industrial utility water, wastewater, and seawater desalination. WAVE PRO helps users design ultrafiltration systems with accurate calculations. The digital interface allows users to simulate process conditions and evaluate cost-effective configurations. The tool is web-based, secure, and compatible with multiple platforms.Ultrafiltration removes particles as small as 0.02 microns, reducing bacteria, viruses, and colloids.
JSW Energy Signs 25-Year Power Agreement for 1,600 MW Thermal Project
JSW Energy has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement with West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company for a 1,600 MW thermal power plant in Salboni. The plant will be built within five years and will use domestic coal allocated under the SHAKTI B policy.The company also announced the commercial operation of Unit 2 of its 2X350 MW Utkal thermal power plant.
NTPC Green Commissions 105 MW Solar Project in Madhya Pradesh
NTPC Green Energy has commissioned its 105 MW Shajapur Solar Project in Madhya Pradesh. The second phase, consisting of 50 MW, became operational on Thursday.NTPC Green Energy also signed a joint venture agreement with Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company to develop renewable projects of up to 2 GW in Chhattisgarh or other locations.The company continues to expand its renewable energy portfolio in line with India’s energy transition goals.
OnSwitch and Radial Power Partner to Develop 100 MW of Solar Projects
OnSwitch has announced a partnership with Radial Power to develop 100 megawatts of solar capacity over the next two years. The projects will span approximately 10 million square feet of rooftop space and may include energy storage, EV charging, and community solar options.Radial Power will own and operate the projects, while OnSwitch will provide financing and development expertise. The partnership will leverage OnSwitch’s AI-driven SkyQuotes software to simplify the process of evaluating and purchasing solar electricity.
