Abastible Signs Renewable Energy PPA with Zelestra

Chilean energy company Abastible has entered into a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Zelestra for a 220 MWdc solar PV plant and a 1 GWh battery energy storage system. The hybrid project, already under construction, is expected to generate 600 GWh annually — enough to power 200,000 homes. This initiative strengthens Abastible’s commitment to renewable energy expansion in Chile.

Broad Sky Partners Acquires Commonwealth Electrical Technologies

This investment aims to accelerate CET’s expansion and service offerings. Founded in 2008, CET provides electrical solutions for utilities, commercial, and industrial sectors, including solar installations and EV charging infrastructure.

Ameresco Completes Solar Project with Tri-County Career Center

Ameresco has completed a 185-kW bi-facial solar PV system at the Tri-County Career Center in Ohio. This system, integrated with a reflective membrane, maximizes energy efficiency and reduces CO2 emissions by 161 tons annually. Ameresco provided hands-on training to students in the Electrical Trades Program, preparing them for careers in the growing renewable energy sector. The initiative aligns with broader industry efforts to address skilled labor shortages in clean energy jobs.

Mission Clean Energy Secures $55 Million Investment from Orsted

Mission Clean Energy has received a $55 million investment from Orsted to expand its portfolio of utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. This builds on an existing partnership between the two companies, which includes four standalone battery storage projects in the Midwest.
