The deal includes the delivery of wind turbines and related services over the next few years, primarily focused on Enercity’s expansion plans for renewable power generation. Enercon will supply its latest-generation turbines, supporting both companies’ commitment to Germany’s energy transition goals. FINN Launches First All-Electric Hydroseeder for Erosion Control

FINN Corporation has introduced the world’s first all-electric hydroseeder, aimed at erosion control and seeding applications. The machine operates without diesel, using an electric powertrain and battery system. It includes remote diagnostics and is compatible with existing hydroseeding practices. The launch took place at FINN’s headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio. The unit is designed for use by contractors and municipalities focused on reducing emissions and meeting regulatory requirements. Commercial deliveries are scheduled to begin later in 2025. The product expands FINN’s equipment offerings in the landscaping and environmental management sector.

Approval Granted for 400MW Solar and Battery Project in Yorkshire

North Yorkshire Council has approved a 400MW solar and battery storage project proposed by Boom Power in the UK. The Larks Green Energy Park, located near Selby, will include a combination of solar photovoltaic panels and battery storage systems across approximately 500 hectares. The project is expected to generate enough electricity to power over 100,000 homes annually. It will connect to the National Grid via a nearby substation. The development is part of the UK’s strategy to increase renewable energy capacity and reduce reliance on fossil fuels.
