New Vision with the help of 3M scientists have invented a brighter solar light by placing 33 LED lights on 3M Solar Mirror Film creating a brightest reflecting surface, making Ray of Life dependable solar lights on the market.

3M Solar Mirror Film is lighter in weight, offering higher reflectance and better mechanical properties than normal glass mirrors. These features can increase the output and design flexibility of the CSP system.

The company has come up with one of the brightest whole room solar lights to be used in developing countries and Ray of Life will soon be made available to consumers to use in their own emergency preparedness kit. By reaching the Kickstarter goal, production will begin soon, bringing light to the 1.2 billion people still living in darkness around the world, stated, Ruston Seaman, president, CEO.

The campaign is also offering supporters an opportunity to donate lights to others and help light a home, school, or even an orphanage. There are very few times in life where people have the opportunity to make a huge impact with lasting results for generations to come, said Seaman.

New Vision’s solar lights have been used in 32 countries since 2011.
