Greentech Lead America: Telvent GIT, a real-time IT
solutions and information provider for a sustainable world, announced that
Anglian Water Services, the largest water and wastewater company in England and
Wales by geographic area, has chosen their leakage management solution.
Telvent’s water leakage management solution is part of
the company’s advanced Smart Water Network tools. It will help Anglian Water
Services to help improve operational efficiency and minimize water loss.
Anglian Water will employ the Telvent Integrated Leakage and Pressure
Management System to leverage water network data to more quickly detect leaks
and improve response time.
Telvent’s Smart Water Network solutions provide customers
with a suite of tools that transforms data into meaningful information for more
informed operational decision making. Seamless integration with virtually all
of Anglian Water’s existing corporate systems will allow the utility to compare
current network dynamics with historic data, thereby facilitating rapid
detection and location of leaks and bursts.

Anglian Water is currently executing a telemetry
replacement project with Serck Controls, another subsidiary of Schneider
Electric.
