Greentech Lead America: Everest Solar Systems, a solar mounting systems manufacturer in the U.S., announced enhancements for its residential and commercial racking solutions.

To fuel the company’s growth in the U.S. market, Everest Solar Systems is optimizing the cost of grounding and bonding for its racking solutions for the residential and commercial solar market. The company is releasing two proprietary parts that are ETL listed to UL 467.

With these innovative bonding solutions alone, solar integrators estimate they will save up to 15 percent on parts and labor with the added benefit of a safe, and much simpler racking system.

The products will significantly reduce BOS costs and labor for residential and commercial racking solutions.

“Code-compliant grounding and bonding hardware represents a substantial part of the overall cost of solar racking systems,” said CEO, Boris Mathiszik. “By integrating bonding and grounding functions with our racking systems, we are able to significantly reduce these costs and contribute to overall lower Dollar per Watt costs.”

The MK2 slot nut is ETL listed to UL 467 and ensures bonding between all components of the Everest D-Dome and S-Dome low ballast systems for commercial flat roofs. The Everest residential CrossRail Rail Connector is ETL listed to UL467 and eliminates added parts and labor often required for rail to rail bonding jumpers and lugs.

Everest Solar Systems is a member of K2 Systems International Group, one of Europe’s market leaders in mounting systems, with more than 3 GW installed. The group has developed a portfolio of industry-leading technologies and mounting solutions for residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar deployments.

The products will be on display at the upcoming Intersolar trade show,
