OnSwitch and Radial Power Partner to Develop 100 MW of Solar Projects

OnSwitch has announced a strategic partnership with Radial Power to develop 100 megawatts of solar capacity over the next two years. The projects will span approximately 10 million square feet of rooftop space and may include energy storage, EV charging, and community solar options.Radial Power will own and operate the projects, while OnSwitch will provide financing and development expertise. The partnership will leverage OnSwitch’s AI-driven SkyQuotes software to simplify the process of evaluating and purchasing solar electricity.

TOYO Hosts Ethiopian Delegation to Strengthen Solar Collaboration

TOYO recently welcomed a delegation from Ethiopia’s Industrial Park Development Corporation (IPDC) and Ethiopia’s Ambassador to Japan at its headquarters in Japan and facilities in Vietnam. The visit followed the Japan-India-Africa Business Forum.TOYO is constructing a 2 GW solar cell manufacturing plant in Ethiopia’s IDPC industrial park, set to commence production soon.

Boviet Solar to Open First U.S. PV Module Plant in April 2025

Boviet Solar will celebrate the grand opening of its first U.S. PV module manufacturing facility in Greenville, North Carolina, on April 24, 2025. The $294 million factory will produce high-performance monocrystalline PV modules using advanced N-Type solar cell technology. The facility’s first phase will have a production capacity of 2 GW, with Phase 2 expanding operations further by 2026.The new factory will create approximately 908 skilled jobs, supporting economic growth and clean energy initiatives.

Adapture Renewables Acquires 110 MW Solar and Battery Project

Adapture Renewables has acquired a 110 MW solar and battery energy storage project in Colorado from Samsung C&T Renewables. This project marks Adapture’s entry into Colorado, aligning with the state’s clean energy goal of 100  percent renewable electricity by 2040.The Haynach Solar project is expected to be operational by 2029.

Nautilus Solar Expands Community Solar Capacity in 2024

Nautilus Solar Energy added 149 MW of new community solar projects in 2024, growing its operating portfolio to 477 MW across 12 states. The company now serves over 40,000 subscribers, providing cost savings and clean energy solutions.CEO Jeffrey Cheng highlighted the company’s resilience and growth despite economic challenges, stating that increased subscriber demand and policy advancements will drive further expansion in 2025.

EVgo Opens First Fast Charging Stations Through Toyota’s ‘Empact’ Initiative

EVgo and Toyota Motor North America have launched the first fast-charging stations under Toyota’s ‘Empact’ initiative. The stations, located in Baldwin Park and Sacrament,California, feature 350kW fast chargers capable of serving up to eight vehicles simultaneously. EVgo and Toyota have also extended a program offering one year of free charging to buyers of the 2025 Toyota bZ4X EV model.
