TurningPoint Energy and MEI partner for community solar projects in Illinois
TurningPoint Energy has partnered with Madison Energy Infrastructure (MEI) to launch its first community solar initiative, a 20 MW project in Will County, Illinois. This collaboration is part of a broader four-project portfolio developed by TurningPoint Energy to align with Illinois’ renewable energy goals. MEI will take ownership of the projects, handling construction, operation, and subscription management for both commercial and residential customers.
The projects, situated in Joliet, Crete, and Peotone, range from 2.8 MWdc to 7.5 MWdc and are expected to generate over 30 GWh of clean energy in their first year. This output will cater to leading corporations and approximately 1,000 residential customers, bolstering access to sustainable energy while contributing to the region’s clean energy transition.
EliTe Solar launches solar cell facility in Indonesia
In a move to strengthen its global presence, EliTe Solar has inaugurated a high-efficiency solar cell production facility in Indonesia. Nir brings three decades of expertise in the technology sector, including his tenure as General Manager of SanDisk’s consumer business.
