NuGen Capital, a U.S. renewable energy developer had completed four solar farm projects in Massachusetts totaling 10 MWDC power.
These four solar farms are located in the towns of Lunenburg, Whatley and Hadley, MA. NuGen Capital will own and operate the sites.
The electricity produced from these facilities will be made available to manufacturers, municipalities and universities in the locality through corresponding utility provider.
BYD Company began delivery of solar panels few months ago and completed recently. These are the first BYD panels to be installed in the state of Massachusetts, with a worldwide delivery of solar panels over 2 GW.
BYD is 60 percent US owned with China-based manufacturing that produce high quality, cost competitive solar panels. Now NuGen has expanded to U.S. and abroad working with BYD, said, David Milner, CEO, NuGen Capital.
NuGen’s order of BYD modules represents the largest East Coast order in BYD’s history. Company has a vision of a 100 percent domestic-energy and believes that these solar resources bring one step closer to that, said, Tom Zhao, GM, BYD Solar team.
