Enviromena Secures £825 mon Financing to Expand 1GW UK Solar Portfolio

Enviromena has secured an £825 million senior portfolio financing package, one of the largest solar deals in the UK in 2026, to accelerate its renewable energy expansion. The facility, backed by lenders including BBVA, Intesa Sanpaolo, Lloyds Banking Group, NatWest Group, and Société Générale, includes an initial £525 million commitment to support a 1GW solar pipeline. The financing structure features a £300 million accordion option, enabling future expansion. CEO Chris Marsh said the funding will speed up project delivery and strengthen the UK’s clean energy transition. Supported by Arjun Infrastructure Partners, Enviromena aims to scale operations and enhance energy security.

L&G NTR Fund Secures 75MW Fair Oaks Hybrid Solar-Battery Project

The Legal & General NTR Clean Power Fund has secured a 75MW hybrid renewable energy project at Fair Oaks, strengthening its clean energy portfolio and accelerating grid-scale decarbonisation. The ready-to-build project combines 75.4MWp of solar PV with a 49.9MW/99.8MWh battery energy storage system, delivering flexible and reliable power generation.  The hybrid design highlights innovation by integrating solar generation with advanced battery storage, enabling efficient energy management, peak demand support, and improved grid stability. Key benefits include enhanced renewable output, reduced carbon emissions, and optimized energy usage through storage-backed supply. The project also supports energy resilience and maximizes asset performance.
