JA Solar has signed a partnership with DuPont China R&D Center in Shanghai to cooperate on solar technology.
Under the partnership, JA Solar will use DuPont materials to help improve the power output, durability and return on investment for solar energy systems.
China is a strategic market for DuPont. In September, the company opened its Innovation Center in Shanghai to feature the latest innovations, applications and products that address local market needs in food, energy, automotive and protection, as well as computer, communications and consumer electronics, sectors.
JA Solaris aggressively pursuing solar opportunities in new markets. Recently the company signed a major solar deal in Pakistan.
Recently JA Solar Holdings also revealed that the power of its solar modules assembled by 60 multi-crystalline silicon (multi-Si) cells has a new milestone of above 280 W.
