At the RE+ 2023 exhibition, Growatt, a global leader in solar and storage solutions, wowed attendees with a range of innovative products tailored specifically to meet the evolving needs of the U.S. market. These solutions cater to both residential and commercial applications, emphasizing Growatt’s dedication to delivering exceptional products and experiences to American customers.
One of the standout highlights at the RE+ 2023 exhibition was the introduction of the MIN 3000-11400TL-XH2-US, part of the XH2 series, which represents a significant advancement in energy self-sufficiency for American households. This upgraded iteration of the XH model boasts an impressive 16A PV string current input, enabling smoother transitions between on-grid and off-grid modes in 20 milliseconds when paired with the SYN 200E-23 backup unit.
Additionally, it offers a UPS function and supports up to three inverters in an off-grid parallel configuration, making it an ideal solution for whole-home backup in larger residences. When combined with the Growatt APX HV Battery System US, users can enjoy enhanced energy storage capabilities thanks to its innovative soft-switching parallel connection technology. This technology allows each module to independently manage charging and discharging, providing greater flexibility and ease of expansion and maintenance.
Another notable exhibit was the ALP LV Battery System and SPH 10000TL-HU-US, a split-phase solution that delivers 120/240Vac output without the need for an external transformer. This inverter sets itself apart with its ultra-fast 10-millisecond switch to off-grid power, three Maximum Power Point Trackers (MPPTs) capable of handling a maximum input current of 22A, and compatibility with high-power modules. Its off-grid parallel capability extends to six inverters, showcasing its adaptability. The ALP LV Battery System’s modular design streamlines installation, while its impressive charging and discharging capacity of up to 220A enhances performance for each battery cluster.
Growatt also presented the three-phase 208V WIT 28-55K-A(H)U-US and three-phase 480V WIT 50-100K-A(H)U-US hybrid inverters, designed to work seamlessly with the APX Commercial Battery. This energy storage solution is tailored to meet the demands of commercial and industrial settings, featuring an all-in-one design that combines 10 MPP trackers, PCS, and ATS.
In off-grid mode, the system can be expanded with up to three inverters in parallel, achieving a cumulative capacity of 300kW. When operating in on-grid mode, the parallel inverter configuration can be scaled up to nine units, ensuring robust power capabilities. The APX Commercial Battery leverages soft-switching connection technology, simplifying the integration of battery packs with different States of Charge (SOCs) and reducing deployment costs.
Frank Qiao, Vice President at Growatt, emphasized the increasing demand for solar photovoltaics in the United States, stating, “Our energy solutions have empowered homes, businesses, and communities across over 180 countries globally. Moving forward, we will continue to leverage our expertise and deliver reliable, intelligent solar and storage solutions to the U.S. market.”
Growatt’s commitment to innovation and excellence in solar and storage solutions positions the company as a driving force in the renewable energy industry, ready to meet the evolving needs of American consumers and businesses.
