DMEGC Solar is set to commence full-scale mass production of photovoltaic (PV) cell at its new facility located in Yibin, Sichuan Province, starting on October 20. This marks the company’s first venture into PV cell manufacturing beyond its home base in Zhejiang Province and positions the Yibin facility as their flagship site for the production of N-type TOPCon high-efficiency cells.
DMEGC Solar’s strategic move into the Yibin project is designed to strengthen its position in the N-type market, facilitating synergies and establishing the company as a trailblazer and leader in the mass production of next-generation PV technology.
Leveraging N-type TOPCon high-efficiency cell technology and cutting-edge automated cell production tools, the new facility in Yibin is poised for groundbreaking PV cell research and development, as well as manufacturing.
The N-type TOPCon high-efficiency cells developed by DMEGC Solar boast exceptional efficiency, an impressive bifacial rate, minimal degradation, a low temperature coefficient, and outstanding performance even in low-light conditions. These features significantly enhance the power output, efficiency, and energy yield of PV modules.
The Yibin facility is equipped with advanced technologies, including 5G industrial connectivity, an advanced factory management system, AI-enhanced security protocols, intelligent automatic guided vehicles (AGVs), and six-axis industrial robots, further accentuating its efficiency and productivity.
DMEGC Solar currently maintains five production hubs strategically located in Hengdian (Zhejiang Province), Qixian (Henan Province), Sihong (Jiangsu Province), Yibin (Sichuan Province), and Lianyungang (Jiangsu Province). Collectively, these hubs have achieved a combined shipment of over 30GW, including 14GW of cells and 12GW of modules, contributing significantly to the global renewable energy landscape.
