DMEGC Solar, a player in the solar energy industry, recently celebrated a significant achievement as its first 5GW high-efficiency solar module rolled off the production line at the Lianyungang manufacturing base. This milestone marks the successful transition of the base into full-scale production, solidifying its position as DMEGC Solar’s second-largest operation in the region.

Construction of the Lianyungang base commenced in April 2023 and, remarkably, achieved its first product rollout and initiated mass production within a mere four months. This swift transition exemplifies the operational efficiency that DMEGC Solar is renowned for. With the launch of the Lianyungang base, DMEGC Solar’s module production capacity has now reached an impressive 12GW.

The Lianyungang base boasts a designed production capacity of 5GW and leverages large-size N-type TOPCon high-efficiency cells, alongside a suite of industry-leading technologies. These include SMBB + Half-cell technology, lossless laser cutting, and high-density packaging. These cutting-edge technologies promise superior performance in terms of power output, efficiency, bi-facial capabilities, temperature coefficient, and low-light performance.

The PV modules are designed to deliver a maximum output power of 630W and an efficiency of 22.54 percent, making them well-suited for a wide range of applications, including large-scale power station projects and various “PV+” scenarios. The advanced design not only increases power generation but also lowers the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE), aligning with the market’s growing demand for high-efficiency, high-power modules.

Embracing a commitment to green, intelligent, and sustainable growth, DMEGC Solar’s Lianyungang base has integrated automation, digitization, and intelligence to create a state-of-the-art digital smart factory. This transition towards digital manufacturing underscores the production of efficient and reliable PV modules. Furthermore, the base is gearing up to launch its “100 percent Green Power” initiative, with the goal of achieving zero carbon emissions throughout its manufacturing processes. This initiative sets a new industry benchmark for green, carbon-neutral factories.

The shift to mass production at the Lianyungang base represents a pivotal moment in DMEGC Solar’s entry into the N-type TOPCon space. By capitalizing on its expertise in industrial chain management, technological R&D, and intelligent manufacturing, DMEGC Solar is poised to enhance production efficiency, elevate product quality, reduce production costs, and expedite delivery. This commitment not only ensures an expanding lineup of top-tier modules but also solidifies DMEGC Solar’s dedication to advancing a greener, low-carbon future in partnership with its stakeholders and partners.
