Atlantic Wind and Solar has started construction of another 320 KW solar PV plant at Burlington, Ontario.
The process received Notice to Proceed from Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) for the project recently.
The rooftop solar project comprising 1,488 panels and expected to cost $2 million is expected to produce 7,900 megawatt hours of power over the next 20 years.
Power from the project will be sold at Feed-in Tariff program of the province.
Atlantic, which is a developer of utility scale renewable energy projects, has installed capacity of more than 1 GW in Canada, South America, South Asia and the Caribbean.
