Itron, has signed a four-year contract to supply water meters to Evides Waterbedrijf, a water supply utility in the Western Netherlands.
According to the contract, Itron will supply up to 100,000 water meters every year for four years.
Itron’s AMI-ready volumetric water meters will help in managing water delivery of the utility in an accurate and reliable manner.
Evides supplies water to 2.5 million customers approximately. The metering solution will help them track and use water resources in more efficient way as well as maximizing economic revenue over time.
Evides has a long history of working with Itron for commercial and industrial metering needs. Itron was selected due to the positive experiences they imparted with high-quality and technology, said Roy van der Knaap, metering manager, Evides.
