NextVolt Sells 250 MW Standalone Battery Storage Project to Exus Renewables
NextVolt has completed the sale of a 250 MW / 1,000 MWh standalone battery energy storage system project to Exus Renewables North America, strengthening Exus’ presence in the US utility-scale storage market. The project, located in the Western Electricity Coordinating Council region, is currently in the development stage. NextVolt originated the asset and completed site control, due diligence, and early-stage development activities before the transaction. Under the agreement, Exus will take the project through final development and construction and will retain long-term ownership and operational responsibility.
