Sungrow Unveils PowerTitan 2.0 at RE+ Mexico 2025
Sungrow has introduced its latest PowerTitan 2.0 energy storage system at RE+ Mexico 2025. Mexico’s energy demand is rising, and the government aims for 54 percent renewable electricity by 2030. Sungrow’s 1+X Modular Inverter offers flexible solar solutions, while its PowerTitan 2.0 and PowerStack systems support grid stability. The company is also supplying the 200MW/880MWh BESS del Desierto project, reinforcing its role in Mexico’s clean energy transition.
Waaree Energies Wins EcoVadis Gold Medal for ESG Excellence
Waaree Energies became the first Indian solar PV manufacturer to receive the EcoVadis Gold Medal, placing it among the top 5 percent of global companies for ESG standards. This recognition strengthens Waaree’s reputation and opens new market opportunities. New Energy Equity Partners with Harlem School District for Solar Project
New Energy Equity (NEE) is developing a 5.54 MWdc solar project with Harlem Consolidated School District in Illinois. The project will provide discounted electricity and benefit the local community. Part of Illinois’ Public Schools Program, it supports the state’s renewable energy growth. NEE has developed over 90 MWdc of community solar in Illinois and aims to expand clean energy in schools. BOW Renewables initiated the project, and NEE will oversee its completion, setting an example for sustainable school energy solutions.
Base Power and Bandera Electric Partner for Distributed Battery Storage
Base Power and Bandera Electric Cooperative (BEC) launched a battery storage program in Texas. Homeowners can access affordable battery backup systems without upfront costs. BEC will manage the network using Base’s Apolloware platform to improve grid stability and efficiency. This partnership expands Base’s presence in Texas and aligns with BEC’s strategy to provide cost-effective energy solutions. The program is now available for BEC members.
Ardagh Glass Packaging Uses Solar Energy for California Facility
Ardagh Glass Packaging-North America (AGP) has completed a 13 MW solar project to power its Madera, California facility. The solar field, built by Longroad Energy, will supply 20 percent of the facility’s electricity. This project supports Ardagh’s sustainability goals and strengthens its commitment to renewable energy. The company previously launched a similar project in New Jersey, continuing its investment in clean energy.
