Sunil Khanna appointed as president and MD of Emerson Network Power India

Greentech Lead India: Emerson Network Power has appointed
Sunil Khanna as president and managing director for India.

Sunil takes over the position from Sandeep Nair who has
been elevated to president of Fusite, an Emerson business headquartered in
Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.

In his role, Khanna will be responsible for directing and
leading the organization to drive growth and profitability in line with Emerson’s
strategic direction and business ethics. He will also drive organizational
development and talent management in order to sustain long term growth and
enhance the company’s competitive edge in the market place.

Khanna will be based in the company’s India
headquarters in Mumbai and will report to Stephen Liang, president of Emerson
Network Power Asia Pacific.

Khanna had joined Emerson Process Management in
2004 as senior vice president, sales & operations in India and was elevated
to managing director of the company in 2006. Prior to joining Emerson, Sunil
held various leadership positions at ABB India including VP of automation
technology, and divisional manager – South East Asia.
