Greentech Lead America: Dialight, a provider of LED lighting technology, has introduced integrated controls for its LED lighting fixture portfolio.

The patent-pending, smart grid compatible control package is available in variety of communications including powerline communications (PLC), wireless (industry standard Zigbee) or DALI platforms. It can be manually configured or accessed utilizing a touch screen wall controller via mobile devices such as iPhone, iPad, or Android, or from a remote network computer.

Dialight’s advanced lighting controls system will debut on the company’s LED High Bay products for industrial and hazardous locations including UL Class I and II, Div 1, Class I and II, Div 2 as well as ATEX/IECEx Zone 1 and 2 configurations.

The integrated controls helps customers turn individual or grouped LED light fixtures on and off when required. They can also be dimmed to required illumination levels, used in conjunction with daylight sensing or motion detection technologies as well as scheduled with different operating profiles for various times of the day or week.

Through Dialight’s controlled LED lighting fixtures, intelligent monitoring and reporting will give users the ability to review lighting and energy consumption statistics via the web or mobile device apps with high tech advanced security for individual or multiple facilities.  Features include on-demand or scheduled reports and fault management alerts if an issue is present.

Products will ship in Q2-2013 and will be integrated into additional Dialight fixture families later this year.
