Greentech Lead America:Â Access Fixtures announced the release of a new 77 watt LED wall pack that emits more light than a 250 watt metal halide wall pack, and uses 72 percent less electricity than the 250w MH wall pack.
Additionally the 77w LED wall pack will last much longer, providing uncompromised safety and reduced maintenance. The 77w full cut off LED wall pack is dark sky compliant as well as DLC qualified, qualifying for most energy rebate programs, the company said.
“Access Fixtures’ LED luminaires are meeting or exceeding the performance of metal halide luminaires, and are now cost effective too,” said Access Fixtures CEO, Steven Rothschild. “Priced under $400 and providing significant energy savings, the new Access Fixtures 77 watt LED wall pack makes selecting LED lighting an obvious choice.”
A 250w MH wall pack emits 4,300 mean lumens at 60 CRI. The 77w LED wall pack emits 5,036 mean lumens at 75 CRI, which is 17 percent more light with superior color rendering. A 250w MH wall pack uses 278 system watts, while a 77 watt LED uses just 77 watts, reducing energy use by 72 percent.
Access Fixtures can competitively build and custom finish luminaires and poles to the performance specifications required. Luminaire types include wall packs, area lights, bollards, garage lighters, vandal resistant, exit and emergency, high bay, low bay, linear fluorescent, track lighting and grow light fixtures.
