SmartEnergy IP announces the Smart Grid Customer Education and Engagement Conference

Greentech Lead America: SmartEnergy IP, a strategy and
research firm dedicated to smart grid customer education, announced the final
agenda for the Smart Grid Customer Education and Engagement Conference on May
16, 2012.

Taking place at the San Diego Gas and Electric
(SDG&E) Energy Innovation Center, the event will feature utility industry
experts, regulators, and stakeholders to discuss the importance of customer
education around smart grid, and particularly advanced metering infrastructure
(AMI).

“As more utilities announce smart meter deployments
and related time of use programs across the nation, it is becomingly
increasingly critical for utilities to work together to develop and implement
best practices for customer engagement,” said Juliet Shavit, president of
SmartEnergy IP.

The Smart Grid Customer Education Symposium will feature
speakers including participants from the U.S. Department of Energy, California
Public Utilities Commission, as well as utilities from across the country
currently rolling out AMI and time of use (TOU) pricing programs.

The event will also feature leading solutions providers
who have demonstrated successful deployments of their technology at utilities.
