2012 Recycling and Waste Management exhibition at Birmingham

Greentech Lead U.K: The 2012 Recycling and Waste
Management (RWM) exhibition is scheduled to take place from September 11 to 13
at Birmingham’s NEC arena. The event will attract stakeholders in U.K’s waste
management industry including waste management vendors, local authorities and
professionals.

A highlight of the event will be the keynote by former
environment secretary John Gummer, now Lord Deben, at the Leader’s Theatre.
Other keynote speakers include Alastair Campbell, former director of
communications and strategy for Tony Blair; Brian Cox OBE, particle physicist
turned television science presenter; and, James Woudhuysen, professor of
forecasting and innovation at De Montfort University, Leicester.

The RWM exhibition has provided a vast area for vendors
to exhibit their solutions and equipment. It also offers a host of networking
opportunities and a comprehensive exhibitor line-up featuring leading private
waste contractors, technology specialists, plant and equipment suppliers and
consultants. The floor will play host to over 700 exhibitors that include plant
and equipment, organics waste treatment solutions as well as a variety of
innovative containers.

The waste management exhibition at the Materials Village
will feature all the key materials associations and social enterprises in the
waste and recycling sector. The Social Enterprise Zone will provide visitors
with the opportunity to connect with third sector organizations.

Some of the exhibitors in the show include: Komptech, New
Earth Solutions, Mach Tech Services, UNTHA UK, Knowaste, Qurius UK, Vecoplan,
Scarab Sweepers, West Recycling and Straight.
