Plug Power Wins 280 MW Electrolyzer Deal for Denmark Sustainable Aviation Fuel Project
Plug Power has signed an agreement to supply 280 MW of GenEco electrolyzers to Arcadia eFuels’ Project ENDOR at the Port of Vordingborg in Denmark. The electrolyzers will use renewable electricity to produce approximately 110 tonnes of renewable hydrogen per day, which will be combined with captured carbon dioxide to manufacture sustainable aviation fuel. Deliveries will begin after the project receives notice to proceed. The agreement follows three years of engineering collaboration between the companies. Plug Power has also become Arcadia eFuels’ preferred electrolyzer supplier for four additional projects in Europe and the Americas representing more than 1 GW of potential electrolyzer capacity. Project ENDOR is currently progressing toward final investment decision.
Nuvoco Takes 26% Stake in CleanMax’s 46.4 MW Wind-Solar-Storage Project
Nuvoco Vistas has agreed to acquire 26 percent of Clean Max Ilgohp, the project company developing a 46.4 MW wind-solar hybrid facility at Bhikamkhore in Rajasthan. CleanMax will develop the project with 20 MW of wind, 26.4 MWdc of solar and a 2 MWh battery energy storage system under a group-captive structure. Electricity will reach Nuvoco’s cement operations through the state transmission utility’s open-access network. The facility is expected to generate approximately 100 million units of renewable electricity annually and avoid around 125,485 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year. CleanMax already operates more than 525 MW of solar, wind and hybrid assets in Rajasthan.
Juniper Green Energy Adds 100.64 MWh Battery Capacity at Bikaner
Juniper Green Energy subsidiary Juniper Green Cosmic has commissioned another 100.64 MWh of battery energy storage capacity at its Bikaner Phase II project in Rajasthan. The September 29 addition doubles commissioned storage capacity at the project site to 201.28 MWh. Following the latest commissioning, Juniper Green Energy’s broader operating portfolio stands at approximately 2,725 MWp of renewable generation and around 600 MWh of battery storage. The milestone increases the company’s ability to combine renewable generation with dispatchable storage as Indian utilities increasingly procure firm and peak-period clean electricity. The additional BESS capacity represents operational infrastructure entering service rather than a tender award or early-stage development proposal.
