Sungrow Retains No. 1 Position in 2025 PV Inverter Shipments

Sungrow retained the No. 1 position globally for photovoltaic inverter shipments in S&P Global’s 2025 rankings. The achievement reflects the company’s continued investment in technological innovation, international expansion and customer support across utility-scale, commercial, industrial and residential solar markets. Sungrow supplies photovoltaic inverters and energy-storage systems designed to support power generation, grid stability and renewable-energy integration. The company’s product portfolio covers central and string inverters alongside integrated storage, electric-vehicle charging and green-hydrogen technologies. Remaining first in the 2025 shipment ranking demonstrates the scale of Sungrow’s global manufacturing and sales network as solar installations continue expanding worldwide. The company said it will continue developing digitalised and grid-compatible renewable-energy technologies to address changing power-system requirements and support customers across diverse project environments.

HiTHIUM Starts Production at RMB13 Billion Long-Duration Storage Park

Shandong HiTHIUM began production rollout at its long-duration energy-storage industrial park in Heze Luxi New Area on August 7, 2026. Described as the world’s first integrated industrial park dedicated exclusively to long-duration storage, the project covers a planned area of approximately 80 hectares. Total investment across its industrial chain exceeds RMB13 billion, equivalent to roughly US$1.82 billion. The facility integrates materials, lithium-iron-phosphate cells, modules, complete storage systems and delivery operations at one location, with automation exceeding 95 percent. HiTHIUM expects the integrated manufacturing model to improve production efficiency, quality control and large-scale delivery of storage equipment. The Heze Base has been designated a key national private-investment initiative and a flagship project supporting Shandong Province’s development of a new energy system.
