BTC POWER and Summit Charging Build 17-Site, 107-Charger US EV Infrastructure Pipeline
BTC POWER and Summit Charging are developing a US fast-charging pipeline spanning 17 sites, 107 chargers and 135 charging ports, with Summit targeting 100 charging locations by 2028. Eight sites in Washington, D.C., Texas and California have secured National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program awards and will deploy 40 DC fast chargers across 56 ports. Summit is separately developing four self-funded California sites with 42 chargers and 54 ports, while another five sites in New York and Pennsylvania will add 25 chargers and 25 ports. BTC POWER is providing its US Build America, Buy America-compliant charging technology, including 320 kW All-In-One chargers. The companies have worked together on technical specifications, federal compliance and project economics since April 2026
Adani Energy Wins $493 Million Transmission Project to Evacuate 4.5 GW of Renewable Power
Adani Energy Solutions has secured a INR 47 billion ($492.6 million) transmission project designed to evacuate up to 4,500 MW of renewable and storage power between Karnataka and Maharashtra. The project will be implemented through Satara Power Transmission and completed within 36 months. Infrastructure includes a new 765/400-kV substation at Satara, a 765-kV double-circuit Kolhapur–Satara transmission line and expansion of the Kolhapur pooling station. The programme will add 562 circuit-km of transmission lines and 9,000 MVA of transformation capacity to Adani’s network. It will also support pumped-storage development around Satara, Pune and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, strengthening the inter-regional link between India’s western and southern electricity grids.
Genex Advances 300 MW Solar + 1.7 GWh Battery Project at Bulli Creek
Genex Power has moved forward with the EPC process for its redesigned Bulli Creek solar-storage development in Queensland, advancing one of Australia’s largest planned hybrid renewable projects. The first stage has been reconfigured from the earlier 775 MW standalone solar plan to 300 MW of solar paired with a 425 MW / 1,700 MWh battery energy storage system. Bulli Creek’s wider development rights allow up to roughly 2 GW–2.5 GW of renewable and storage capacity, including potential battery capacity of as much as 600 MW / 2,400 MWh. The project is located southwest of Toowoomba and is owned by J-Power-backed Genex. The redesigned configuration aims to shift solar electricity into higher-value evening periods and reduce exposure to negative daytime power prices.
ELESELA Reaches Financial Close on 20 MWh Lithuania Battery Project Lithuanian developer ELESELA has achieved financial close for a 20 MWh standalone battery energy storage project in Klaipėda, moving the development into the construction phase. The financing was arranged on a non-recourse basis with Artea Bank, while ZOE Energy Storage has been selected as turnkey system integrator with responsibility for system performance and long-term reliability. Financial close was reached on July 17, 2026. The project adds new flexible capacity to Lithuania’s electricity market as the Baltic region integrates increasing amounts of wind and solar generation and strengthens its independent power system. Standalone batteries can earn revenue through energy arbitrage, frequency services and other grid-balancing products while reducing renewable curtailment. The financing structure also demonstrates growing lender confidence in merchant and contracted European battery-storage assets.
