Vikram Solar, an India-based solar panel manufacturer, said it has entered into an agreement with Dubai-based Unidaan to supply solar products and services in the Middle East and North African region, PTI reported.
“Both the companies have entered into a distribution agreement to supply solar products and services in Middle East and North Africa region,” Vikram Solar said in a release here.
Unidaan and Vikram Solar will work hand-in-hand to further foster development of EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) and solar business in these regions, it said.
“In line with our aim to deliver uncompromising value to our customers across the globe, the agreement with Unidaan is a landmark development. We are delighted and confident that with this association we will offer the best services to these markets the way we have done in the past,” Vikram Solar Managing Director Gyanesh Chaudhary said.
Commenting on the partnership, Unidaan Chief Executive Officer Atul Dua said, “With our demonstrated history of business growth and profitable relationships within Middle East and North African regions, this partnership will successfully deliver on the region’s vision to harness renewable energy and deliver optimal, integrated energy solutions for the industry.”
Vikram Solar has an installed production capacity of 150 MW, and the facilities are located in the Special Economic Zone of Falta in West Bengal.
