Chet Morrison Contractors builds Aikido One platform

Aikido Technologies, a provider of floating offshore wind technology, announced Chet Morrison Contractors has built the Aikido One platform.

The Aikido One project shows that the Aikido Platform can be produced locally, especially in the Gulf Coast region, which has the resources for building and transporting offshore structures. The platform or its components can be transported on standard barges to sites in the US or globally. Its design allows the use of current barges and smaller ports, even for 15MW+ projects. This technology reduces construction time and increases the number of ports and vessels for the offshore wind industry.
