Vestas today announced several orders for supplying wind turbines to wind energy companies.

Vestas has received an order for 337 MW of V150-4.2 MW turbines and V136-3.45 turbines delivered in 3.7 MW Power Optimised Mode for a wind project in the U.S. The order takes Vestas’ announced order intake in US this year past 4.4 GW.

The project was originally developed by Roaring Fork Wind, a joint venture between RES (Renewable Energy Systems) and Steelhead Americas, Vestas’ development arm in North America.

The order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines as well as a 20-year service agreement.

Vestas has secured a 31 MW order from Windpark Albertshof GmbH & Co. KG, a subsidiary of the public utility Berliner Stadtwerke, for a wind park near Albertshof, Brandenburg.

Vestas provides engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) solution. The order also includes civil and electrical works, building and commissioning of a substation, grid connection, as well as a 23-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement.

Vestas has developed a technology solution to fit the site’s wind conditions that includes eight V117-3.45 MW turbines and one V126-3.45 MW turbines in different hub heights. The site’s mixed turbine setup demonstrates the flexibility of Vestas’ 4 MW platform as well as Vestas’ ability to create optimised site layouts.

Vestas has received an order for 256 MW of V120-2.2 MW turbines for a wind project in the U.S. The order includes supply and commissioning of turbines as well as a 10-year service agreement.

Vestas has secured an order for 134 MW of V110-2.0 turbines for a wind project in the U.S. Including previously purchased 2 MW components, the project has a total nameplate capacity of 150 MW. The order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines as well as a multi-year service agreement.

Glennmont Partners has together with the Finnish developer Ilmatar Energy placed an order with Vestas for the 211 MW Piiparinmäki wind project in the municipalities of Pyhanta and Kajaani in Finland.

The project will comprise of 13 V150-4.2 MW and 28 V150-5.6 MW turbines with 155m steel towers and Vestas Anti-Icing System.

E2i Energie Speciali has placed a 43 MW order for two merchant repowering projects in the province of Chieti, Italy.

For the Roccaspinalveti wind park, 24 V47-660 kW wind turbines will be replaced by nine V112-3.3 MW turbines, while the Castiglione Messer Marino will include four V112-3.3 MW wind turbines to replace third-party turbines.
